Bud Norris Today, 2013

.

He pitched well tonight until the Rangers got to him in his 3rd time through the lineup in the 6th inning.

Former Oriole Erik Bedard came in to get the final out of the 6th inning without allowing any addition damage, preserving the lead and Norris' pitching line.

We'll see how Norris does as the season progresses. :)

Very similar story for Norris in his second game ...... trouble with his 3rd time through the lineup, although 3 of the 5 runs that allowed were unearned.

If not for Reddick's error, he would have been out of the 6th inning with a 3-2 lead (2 solo home runs,) and possibly back out for the 7th.

There was serious talk pretty recently of Dan being very interested in Norris. I am interested too. With the the Feldman trade not costing us any major prospects Dan still has some bullets left. Enough to pry Norris away from Houston? I'm not sure... But I would not be surprised to see DD pull off another deal after the first deal. I just have a feeling he's really trigger happy right now.
